Earlier this year Laka hit the news with our major visual transformation. In came our unique patterns and super zesty colours. We thought this would look great on some real kit and our friends at Rapha agreed!
We wanted to come up with something that works for the Laka collective. So with every purchase we're returning a bunch of that cost to you as Laka credit.

Made with a lightweight mesh, the highly breathable upper section has been reshaped with more fabric across the back to provide more support around the waist. The bib straps have been slimmed down into an anatomical shape with high-stretch panels over the shoulders to reduce bulk and create a stable fit for all riders of all heights. A subtle radio pocket is stitched in just above the waist, allowing you to stay in touch with teammates. Below the waist, the short makes use of a new, high-stretch Lycra that is soft against the skin yet slightly compressive for an optimised, in-the-drops race fit. The new fabric also incorporates recycled materials, making it 20% less impactful than the fabric we used previously. Low-profile, super wide silicone leg grippers further improve stability while distributing pressure evenly across the leg to avoid pinching. At the centre of it all is our redesigned, female-specific race chamois whose dual-density constructive and quick-drying fabrics make for comfort, day after day.

The dual density Pro Team chamois pad provides comfort and support with minimal bulk. The pad is size specific for a perfectly tailored fit – no one-size-fits-all here. The main fabric is lightweight, fast-wicking with excellent compression and support. Extra wide, direct-applied silicone leg grippers keep the shorts in place comfortably with a sleek low-profile finish. Breathable uppers provide superb stretch and support, while low-profile bonded edges barely show beneath close-fitting race jerseys. Two radio pockets are positioned on the lower back, offset to avoid discomfort against the spine. Two leg lengths offer the perfect fit and look come race day.

Depending on what you order, you might be getting quite a large stash of Laka credits. Hopefully that'll keep things sweet until your kit arrives. Laka credit is simply money in your Laka account that gets used towards your monthly bike insurance bills before we charge you anything directly. Use your Laka account email address when you purchase and the credits will get added to your account. We'll automatically deduct it from any future bills for Bike Insurance. No need for you to do anything else!
As these items are super special, custom-made products, we're afraid neither refunds nor returns of orders will be accepted. Rapha will replace or repair garments with any manufacturing errors or quality issues. Once you receive your goodies, you have 14 days to make Rapha aware of any such issues with your order. After 14 days you will no longer be eligible for a replacement.
Since all these items are custom made to order it will take around 8-10 weeks between Laka closing the pre-order and you receiving the goods. It's totally worth the wait though, right?!
