COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

1 year's free Laka bicycle insurance competition (the “competition”) is run by Laka Ltd (No. 10575209) in conjunction with The Ride Companion podcast. Laka Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (No. 785971).

The competition is non-transferable and not available in conjunction with any other offer. The following terms and conditions apply to the competition running until 31st July 2022 23:59.

The competition entitles those who satisfy the below Eligibility Requirements to enter in the draw to win the reward. By submitting your entrance to the competition, you accept the Terms and Conditions and consent to being contacted by Laka Ltd via emails containing offers and developments that we think may interest you.

The competition is applicable to those who satisfy the following criteria (“Eligible Entrants”)

  • Enter your details on the competition registration form
  • Be a UK resident
  • Be aged 18 or over‍

The Reward

Subject to meeting the Eligibility Requirements as set out above, competition entrances will have the chance to win:

  • 12 months (1 year) free insurance, in relation to a bike with a value of up to £5,000. 
  • The reward will be applied to the winner's Laka account on 02/08/2022 or once their Policy is Activated. If you do not wish to become a paying Laka customer upon the completion of the offer, you must cancel your policy before the end of the 12 months. 

The winner will be decided on 01/08/2022 by 12:00pm BST, with the winner being announced and contacted that afternoon. 

Termination and Changes

Laka may suspend or terminate the reward or a person’s ability to participate in the competition at any time for any reason. 

We receive the right to suspend accounts or remove Rewards if we notice any activity is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the Laka Terms of Use or Bicycle Insurance Policy Wording. We reserve the right to review and investigate all offer activities and to suspend accounts or modify offers in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.

Updates to Terms

We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Laka.co website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the offer after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
