  • Can I use standard bicycle insurance for food delivery or courier work?

    In case of a claim, unfortunately most standard bicycle insurance policies won’t cover you if you were using your bike for your work. 

  • What types of delivery do you cover?

    Laka provides cover for a variety of delivery uses including, fast-food, grocery, parcel, and courier. Your work not listed here? Ask our awesome customer services team quickly online if we can cover you.

  • Do you insure electric bicycles for delivery use?

    Yes, we love e-bikes. Laka covers e-bikes as standard, and without any extra cost. Plus we insure your battery as part of the policy.

  • Do I need to lock my bike?

    Locking your bike is the best way to protect it from theft. Whenever you leave your bike unattended, out of view when on a delivery, out and about or in a communal storage location, you’ll need to secure your bike to an immovable object using a Sold Secure Gold or Diamond Rated lock.
