If you have an e-scooter, you may be wondering why you can’t just add it to your Laka policy. You’ve seen home insurers allow you to, but not Laka. I mean, we cover electric bikes, bikes, tandems, penny farthings, panniers, sunglasses, rucksacks and much more, so why would we leave out e-scooters?
2020 has been a challenge for us all on a personal level. But cycling has never been more in trend, and it's fair to say that Laka was fortunate enough to be an in demand business.
Lots of people are put off by specialist bike insurance as they have already added their bike to their home insurance policy. Whilst home insurance bike cover might provide some protection, it’s certainly not a huge win for people who love their bike.
