It is all about e-bikes at the moment, with 2021 promising to see an electronic surge for cyclists. Sales figures have increased by more than 47 per cent in the UK alone, as a growing number of people add an “e” to the front of their bike.
If you haven’t put an E in front of your bike yet, now might just be the time to do it. E-bike sales in Europe have gone from strength to strength, and they’re expected to grow from 3.7 million to 17 million by 2030. In 2018, e-bike sales surpassed regular cycle sales in the Netherlands alone.

Lots of people are put off by specialist bicycle insurance as they have already added their bike to their home insurance policy. Whilst this may provide some cover, it’s certainly not a huge win for people who love their bike.
