The Laka Fee is what we will charge you on top of your share for Laka’s role in administering your policy and maintaining the Collective (you and all your fellow Laka members); Laka will arrange your policy with Zurich, administer changes to your policy, govern the policy conditions on Zurich’s behalf and handle and settle your claims. Laka will host the Laka platform to support the administration of your policy.

The Laka Fee is charged under a separate contract to your insurance policy, called the Laka Fee Agreement.

What is the Laka Fee Agreement?

The Laka Fee Agreement is a separate contract to your insurance policy and is a contract between you and us. The Laka Fee Agreement covers Laka’s role in administering your policy and maintaining the Collective (you and all your fellow Laka members) and the Laka Fee that you will pay.

Why are there two contracts?

When you join the collective, you’ll enter two contracts:

One contract is your insurance policy, underwritten by Zurich. This is the contract that will cover your claims.

The other contact is the Laka Fee Agreement, which covers Laka’s role in administering your policy and maintaining the Collective (you and all your fellow Laka members) and the Laka Fee that you will pay.
