Laka has entered a strategic partnership with Ammerländer Versicherung VVaG, one of Germany's most respected bike insurers, to make even greater use of the opportunities of embedded insurance across the German market.
Ammerländer and Laka first crossed paths at an industry conference and stayed in touch, and when the right opportunity in Germany came up, we went from that first call to already working together in a matter of weeks (fast, even by insurance standards).
Ammerländer could have pursued this on their own, and so could we, but together we're building something faster and stronger than either of us would manage solo, with Ammerländer's decades of pricing and policy expertise alongside Laka's technical integration and partner management.
