You will first need to let us know if your gear is damaged, lost or stolen, and whether your claim is for an accessory or your bike (or both).
Your next step is to tell us where the incident happened.
In the case of a theft, you will be asked to enter the crime number, so you’ll need to report the theft to the police first. Please also remember to add the UK police force you have reported it with (https://www.police.uk/forces/).
As part of the claim journey, we ask you to record a video statement in which we can clearly see your face and in which you tell us;
- Who you are
- Where you live
- What gear you’re claiming for and;
- What happened, when, where and how
After the video statement, you’ll need to upload clear photos of your gear if it’s damaged, otherwise you can add any photos, documents or any reports that support your claim. This can include quotes or invoices if you have already taken your bike into your local bike shop.
We want to make sure that you are back riding as soon as possible, so the more information you can give us about your claim, the better.
Please remember that we asked you to upload photos of your insured gear when you took out your policy. Photos are a great way to prove ownership when you come to make a claim, and so we have to have photos of your gear before it was damaged or stolen before we can settle a claim.
